New Command Line argument "/silent" to stop messages appearing when starting finPOWER Connect
A new Command Line argument has been added to stop messages appearing when starting finPOWER Connect.
Typically this is used when running finPOWER Connect in an unattended mode, using other command line options such as "/database databaseName" to open a specific database and "/queue queueId" or "/script scriptId" to run a queue or script respectively.
The Command Line argument is "/silent".
When in Silent mode, the Window title displays " - SILENT MODE" and an icon appears in the status bar.
The following are ignored whilst in silent mode:
- When opening a Database, no warning messages are displayed.
- If the User has a start up Script or start up Application Shortcut these are ignored.
- Task Manager will not open on start up, and Task Manager alerts are ignored.
- XML Import alerts are ignored.
- Shutdown checks, scripts etc are ignored.
As soon as the database is closed Silent mode is disabled.
