SMS Messages; enhanced validation and warnings for message content
SMS Messages now include enhanced validation and warnings for message content.
If invalid characters are detected in the message, e.g. a tilde, the warning message now alerts the user to this. Note, some valid characters are treated as invalid by finPOWER Connect for simplicity, for example, the tilde is treated as invalid as otherwise it would count as 2 characters.
Some characters are now replaced rather than being treated as invalid. The warning message highlights this to the user. Characters that are replaced include the following:
- Linefeed, Carriage Returns and New Lines are replaced with a single space.
- "{" and "[" are replaced with "(".
- "}" and "]" are replaced with "]".
- "\" and "|" are replaced with "/".
In addition the maximum length of "ClickSend (Intelligent Technologies)" messages has been updated from 960 to 765 characters.
