Entities; Global Email Disclaimer can now be defined to override Global Settings
If licensed for the Entities Add-On, a new "Messaging" page is available on the Entities form. This allows the Email Disclaimer defined under Global Settings, Messaging, Email to be overridden on a per-Entity basis.
If an Entity has an Email Disclaimer defined, this will be used in preference to the Global Setting where a Branch (and therefore and Entity) can be determined, e.g.:
- When targetting an Account or Client
- When sending from a Workflow that targets one of the above
The business layer finSettingsUser.EmailSignatureResolved property has been updated to allow it to recieve a "branchPk" parameter. If this is supplied and the Branch's Entity has an Email Disclaimer defined then this will be used. Therefore, any Scripts generating Emails and using this property to create an Email Signature will need to be updated if they need to use the Entity-specific disclaimer.
