Refinancing an Account may update the Account's Description incorrectly

When an Account was refinanced, its Description was updated if it did not match the auto-generated Description (which can be overridden on the Account Types form, New Accounts page).

Because the refinanced Account (at this stage) did not have a Security Statement attached, if the new Account Type defined a description that included the special "[Security]" tag, the description would be incorrect.

Now, when the Refinance is committed, the Account's Description will now be updated to the auto-generated description if:

  • The Account Type has changed.
  • And the new Account Type has a 'Default Description' defined.

The New Account wizard has been updated to add a 'Reset' button next to the Description. This button is only enabled if the Description differs from the auto-generated Description. Similarly, a 'Reset' button has been added next to the Name for consistency.
