NZ PPSR G2B Interface; various updates for Pending Transactions
The following changes have been made to the NZ PPSR G2B Interface for Pending transactions. A Pending Transaction (or Request) is one that did not finish, normally due to a network/ communication issue.
If the Pending Transaction was not chargeable, e.g. an Amendment, then the Pending Transaction update fails with an error.
PPSR Requests include a unique Reference which is used to check whether the Registry received the Request, and if so what happened to it (i.e. success or failure). This Reference is unique for each G2B Customer Account.
This means that if multiple G2B Accounts are used within finPOWER Connect and a User linked to Customer Account A, for example, creates a Pending Transaction and then a User linked to Customer Account B tries to update the Pending Transaction they will always see an "Unknown" result, even if the Transaction has been successful - as they cannot see Customer Account A's Pending Transactions.
To help identify these issues, finPOWER Connect now includes additional warnings if the User who created the original Pending Transaction is not the User updating it. Note, these are warnings only as there is no conclusive way this issue can be tracked.
