NZ Companies Office; update to v2.0 URL and new specification for NZBN
The NZ Companies Office has upgraded its Company Search service to version 2.0 - these services now fully support the New Zealand Business Number (NZBN).
This means a Company can be searched by NZBN, the search details now shows the NZBN and the Company Summary includes the NZBN.
To use this facility you must update the service version on the www.business.govt.nz website. Login to your Account, click "Do It Now" and from the dropdown menu click "Request access". Update CompaniesSummary and CompaniesSearch services to Version 2.0 by clicking the "Edit" button.
The Tools, Global Settings, Clients, Companies Office NZ page now includes a "Versions" button. Click this button to confirm the Service versions that must be configured in the NZ Companies Office website.
When completing a Credit Enquiry and using the "CompaniesOfficeNZ" service, you may now enter the Company Name, Number or NZBN to locate it. The Company selection page includes a new column in the grid "NZBN". The actual Report produced will show the NZ Business Number.
Note, currently there is an issue with the Companies Office services that means a Credit Enquiry may return an error 500 if the Company selected has shareholders that are companies. This issue is expected to be fixed shortly.
