MotorWeb Add-On; add Security Monitoring

Security Monitoring of Motor Vehicles has been added to the MotorWeb Add-On. Note, this also requires the PPSR G2B Add-On.

The Motorweb Vehicle Monitor service takes information from the Security Statement (SPG, FS Number and Pin) and sends it to Motorweb. Motorweb then regularly polls various databases, including the PPSR (to find vehicles used on that Financing Statement) and NZTA to send email alerts to the Finance Company of changes, including where the vehicle has been de-registered, ownership has changed, the plate has changed or the VIN is incorrect. In addition to email alerts finPOWER Connect also includes a new "Alert mailbox" function to automatically retrieve and help handle alerts.

Individual Security Statements can be monitored from the Security Statement's key details page, or via the form's actions. A new block "MotorWeb Security Monitor" includes actions to hold monitoring and to begin monitoring.

Note, holding "monitoring" prevents the Security Statement from being accidentally sent to MotorWeb when you do not wish to have it monitored.

In addition there is a new wizard "MotorWeb Monitoring", found under the Security menu. This can either show all existing Security Statements being monitored, or all those that could be monitored - with an option to monitor selected Security Statements.

Although MotorWeb monitoring may be cleared within finPOWER Connect, MotorWeb currently does not provide this facility. Therefore, you should carefully use this feature.

Two new permissions have been added:

"SecurityStmt.MotorWeb.VehicleMonitor"; determines whether the User can perform Monitoring.
"SecurityStmt.MotorWeb.VehicleMonitorHold"; determines whether the User can place or clear Monitoring holds.
