Account Type Fees; Facility and Over Limit Fees where Element is Due Immediately may cause issues
Default, Facility and Over Limit Fees. Where the element is Due Immediately it may cause issues such as the overdue value being incorrectly updated and therefore unexpectedly charging Default Interest and Fees.
The following rules now apply:
Default FeesNever applicable to Quotes. Creates an error in calculation if an attempt is made to add a Default Fee.
Facility FeesNever affects the "Overdue" columns, ie never due immediately. The Facility Fee is always included in the regular/ overridden Payments. Note, you may use a Standard Transaction to charge a facility fee that is due immediately.
Over Limit FeesAlthough applicable to Quotes, an Over Limit Fee creates an error when calculating. You should always have a Credit Limit greater than the Account balance, and therefore this fee will not be charged whilst a Quote.
