Overriding Payments; the logic behind sorting and using Overriding Payments has been updated

The logic behind sorting and using Overriding Payments with date ranges has been changed.

Previously when there are multiple overriding payments with date ranges, they are ordered with wildcard ranges listed first and then other ranges next - but if ranges start with the same date they are randomly order.

Therefore, you can't control which item is used when there are multiple ranges covering the same date, as it depends on how overriding payments have been sorted. Eg, if you wanted a date range to take priority over a wildcard date you can't do this.

So, the logic behind sorting Overriding Payments has been updated as follows:

All Date Ranges are listed first, left in the same order they have been entered in, followed by all dates in date order. This means you can now re-order payments in the grid.

Calculations now find the first date range in the list that covers the payment date, but where there is a an overriding payment with the date that takes priority.

Note, this change will only effect calculations where there are multiple overriding payments with date ranges.
