Date/Number control spin buttons; mouse detection is one pixel out

In a Date or Number control clicking on the spin button (up/down buttons on right hand side of some controls) may not work quite as expected as the mouse detection is one pixel out.

For example, move the mouse to the very top of the up button, the up arrow button changes colour as you click but the value in the associated control does not change.
