Whether a grantor is specified on a registration is dependent on the collateral class of the item being registered.

If a grantor was not required on the registration, items could still be registered if there was no linked Client or open Account on the Security Statement.

There is now a new validation check for all Security Statements to ensure there is one linked Client or at least one linked Account that is open before an item can be registered.
