finPOWER Address Interface Add On
The NZ Postal Address Interface Add On is now available in finPOWER to validate new address information during data entry. Every client that uses the Address Interface Add On will be required to enter into a Licence Agreement with NZ Post and Intersoft, and this must be signed prior to the installation of the Address Interface Add On.
There are two option available to new and existing clients.
Option 1 - Address Interface
This option provides a summarised data extract that has Suburb, City and Post Code information only. This allows addresses to be validated in much the same way as they are now. There is no cost to the client for this option, however a separate Postal Address End User Licence Agreement must be completed before installation. Effectively, this is a free replacement for the current functionality available within finPOWER where Postcodes can be validated.
Clients will also be able to download quarterly updates to the database from the Intersoft website at no ongoing cost.
Option 2 - Full Verification
The finPOWER Address Interface Full Verification Module provides a dataset extract from the PAF (Postal Address File) as provided by NZ Post. This allows addresses to be formatted and validated accurately in accordance with NZ Post’s requirements, including the actual Delivery Point ID code. Additionally, each address can be manually updated as required, and when it has been verified as valid, a flag is set to highlight it.
An Address Sanitiser Utility is included in this option so client's existing address information can be modified in bulk to conform to the new NZ Postcodes.
Every quarter the clients will be provided with an update disk with the latest Postal Address File from NZ Post. There is a simple update function included in the module that the clients should be able to run themselves.
