Important Post-Release Issues

These issues have been recognised after the release of 3.03.04.

Scripts using finBankExportCreate No Longer Work

Scripted Bank Exports using the finBankExportCreate object will fail with the error "Bank Account Export Service not specified." when using the Load method.

These Scripts must be updated to instead use the LoadFileService method.

Web Services Administration Facility Restricted to Local Web Server

After installing or upgrading to version 3.03.04, the Web Administration facility will only be available from a web browser running on the Web Services web server KB #17550.

This means that you will no longer be able to access the Web Administration facility remotely.

This is a security enhancement and can be switched off (not recommended) from the "Other Settings" form:

NOTE: For the next release of finPOWER Connect, we will investigate allowing a list of white-listed IP addresses to be defined, thereby adding flexibility to installations that rely on remote access to the Web Administration facility but want to restrict it to one or more static addresses.

finPOWER Connect Cloud Administration Facility Restricted to Local Web Server

The Web Administration facility for finPOWER Connect Cloud is also restricted to local access KB #17559.

This can be switched off (not recommended) from the "Configuration" form:
