emPOWER 5.03.17 Released

We are pleased to announce the release of emPOWER Version 5.03.17.

emPOWER, along with all our systems, is constantly being developed and improved. A new release is the culmination of work and development that has been undertaken since the last version. Often new developments are based on User feedback and their experiences in using the software but can also include fixes, regulatory changes and new technologies.

Some of the highlights are of the new version are:

• Transactions
• Updating committed AP Payments and AR Receipts; new ability to update the reference.
• Reports
• Sales Reports – additional filters and groupings added
• Purchase Reports – additional filters and groupings added
• Stock Sales Order Report – additional filter and grouping; ‘Transaction Type’ added
• Excel Fixed Asset Schedule and Excel Fixed Asset Schedule –Base, templates now include a constant which can be set to only print active assets
• General
• Global Options – Stock tab; new option to make Transaction Type mandatory for Stock Transfers
• Permission Key – new permission key to deny stock transfers being entered without a Transaction Type specified
• Scripts – Stock Transfer; transaction type pre save script now being executed
• Scripts – Stock Transfer; pre commit script now executed within a database transaction
• Important Information
• When running a Debtors import via the business layer, the option to refer to an errors collection is now available to determine whether one or more lines have been excluded from the import
